Dynamic and innovative financial services firm committed to delivering exceptional investment solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager who will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our USA branch, ensuring efficient performance, regulatory compliance, and high-quality customer service. This role requires experience in US banking who can support the General Manager, and lead the team effectively.
Location: Brickell Key, Miami. 100% on-site.
- Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:- Oversee daily branch operations, including customer service, transaction processing, cash management, and back-office functions.
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements, risk management protocols, and internal policies.
- Monitor branch performance metrics and implement strategies for optimization and efficiency.
- Team Leadership:
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing branch personnel to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Foster a positive work environment that motivates staff to deliver high-quality service and meet performance targets.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure full compliance with local banking laws and regulations, as well as internal control procedures.
- Work with compliance and risk teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with branch operations.
- Reporting & Financial Management:
- Prepare and submit operational and financial reports to the Branch Manager and senior management.
- Monitor branch expenses and assist in budgeting to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with regional and global management to ensure alignment with the bank’s international strategies and objectives.
- Represent the branch at local industry events and community activities as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in banking or financial services, with experience in branch operations, customer relationship management, or a similar leadership role. International banking experience is preferred.
