Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly qualified Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to develop financial models, analyze data, and produce reports that support strategic decision-making at the executive level. Additionally, this role will assist the FP&A Manager with various accounting tasks, tax preparation, audits, and management reporting. This position requires advanced technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Requirements:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
Experience:
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining advanced financial models.
  • Proficiency in expense analysis and budget management.
Technical Skills:
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, and complex data analysis.
  • Preferable experience with Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
  • Proficiency in handling and interpreting large datasets.
  • Experience creating clear and actionable reports for senior management and company stakeholders.
Systems Knowledge:
  • Experience working with NetSuite to upload and manage financial plans.
  • Ability to integrate actuals data into NetSuite and generate reports comparing plan vs. actual performance.
Languages:
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Analytical and Communication Skills:
  • Strong ability to conduct detailed expense analyses and provide relevant insights.
  • Capability to present technical financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain financial models to support the company’s strategic goals.
  • Upload financial plans into NetSuite and ensure alignment with current operational data.
  • Generate and present plan vs. actual comparison reports, identifying trends and improvement areas.
  • Conduct in-depth expense analysis and propose optimization strategies.
  • Assist the FP&A Manager with accounting tasks, tax preparation, audits, and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manipulate, interpret, and visualize financial data effectively.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports for senior management and company stakeholders.
