Senior Executive
THE ROLE
We are an Economic Group seeking a bilingual CFO to join our team. You will play a crucial role in our financial health and guiding our strategic decisions.
You'll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following:
- Analyzing industry trends, assessing the financial health of the company, and recommending actions to maintain or enhance performance
- Conducting comprehensive analyses of costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and actual performance against business plans
- Identifying and evaluating opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
- Overseeing the operations of the finance department, setting goals, and designing frameworks to achieve them
- Managing the preparation of the company's budget and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Conducting regular assessments of financial procedures and implementing improvements as necessary
- Reviewing the work of the finance team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of financial processes
- Developing new metrics for measuring business performance relative to strategic priorities and minimizing risk
- Driving value within the business through margin enhancement, cost reduction initiatives, and operational efficiencies
- Providing insights into spending trends, cost-saving opportunities, and margin optimization strategies.
- Advising on investment activities and devising strategies to maximize returns while mitigating risks
Requirements
- C1/C2 English and Spanish writing and speaking skills
- At least 5 years of proven experience in similar roles
- Proven experience creating and optimizing financial processes
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing Finance Teams.
- Experience in Energy, Mining and Food & Beverage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Graduated with a college degree
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn how to use new tools and software
