About the Role
As the Regional Sales Manager for Southern Europe, you will spearhead the expansion of Food & Beverage Solutions across France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Reporting directly to the F&B Solutions Business Head-Europe, your mission will be to identify and secure new opportunities in both sweet and savory applications. You will play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets, enhancing market share, and delivering exceptional customer experiences across a diverse range of sales channels, including food manufacturers, QSR, Horeca, and private labels.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement robust sales strategies tailored to the Southern Europe market.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong partnerships with customers, distributors, and retailers, while working closely with internal teams to execute go-to-market strategies.
- Collaboration: Partner with product development, technical sales, supply chain, and operations teams to deliver seamless service and innovative food ingredient solutions.
- Market Engagement: Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities, promoting its portfolio and services.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and contracts to align profitability with customer expectations.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging innovations to position the business competitively.
- Performance Management: Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and action plans to achieve sustainable growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Over 10 years of proven success in sales leadership and business development within the food ingredients sector.
- Regional Expertise: Established network and deep understanding of the Southern Europe market.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Results-Oriented: A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects effectively.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time within the region.
