Our client, one of the leading global manufacturers of CNC machines is on the lookout of an Area Sales Manager to join their team at their operations in Massachusetts

Title: POST SALES ADMINISTRATOR 
Reports to: Operations Manager, Regional   
Hours:   Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
Classification:  Non-Exempt 
Travel:   5%

Employment is conditioned on DMG MORI's ability to obtain and maintain any necessary export licensing.

Essential Job Functions:
This position will provide technical administrative support to the DMG MORI Sales Team and direct customers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily and must be able to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment. JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Process incoming vendor quotes.
  • Check account status, update account information, enter new customer data into the system.
  • New Machine Order management (Following up, PO receiving and invoice requesting).
  • Send invoices to customers and work closely with controller to maintain up to date Accounts receivable status. 
  • Standalone order management (follow up and communicate directly with the customer). 
  • General office duties (ship/receive packages, answer telephones, file documents, order office supplies, etc.). 
  • Work with logistics team and customer on all shipments and related documents.
  • Assist with Service warranty; installations; assigning work orders and part ordering when needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Previous experience with CRM tools is preferable, but not required
  • Previous experience in machine tool industry preferred
  • Average to expert use of Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 
Work Environment: 
General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.

Physical Demands: 
  • Frequent: Sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones. Repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements.
  • Periodic: Standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
  • Occasional: Business travel. Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects.
