One of our clients in the food ingredients industry is currently seeking a Foodservice Business Development Manager to join their team in Europe. This is a key role designed for a commercially driven professional eager to lead expansion strategies and accelerate growth across the foodservice landscape.
This professional will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, building strong distributor partnerships, and leading market penetration strategies across bakery, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, and catering sectors. You will be part of a collaborative and international environment, directly reporting to the European Head of F&B Solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a growth-oriented go-to-market strategy tailored for the foodservice channel.
  • Identify, approach, and convert new business opportunities through distributor networks.
  • Build strong, long-term partnerships with key distributors and support regional sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing, chef communities, and partners to create promotional campaigns that drive awareness and attract new clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (product development, supply chain, operations) to optimize solution portfolios and ensure service excellence.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, culinary events, and networking forums across Europe.
  • Stay informed on market dynamics, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the foodservice industry.

Key Requirements
  • Proven track record in business development within the foodservice or HORECA sector.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roles focused on B2B sales, preferably with food ingredients or culinary solutions.
  • Strong experience working with distributors, wholesalers, or channel partners in the hospitality or food industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic mindset, hands-on approach, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to travel 15-25% across Europe.
