General Manager - Landbase Casino
Job Summary
The General Manager will be responsible of leading and oversee all aspects of land-based casino operations to ensure sustainable profitability, regulatory compliance, and exceptional guest experience. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, maximizing operational efficiency, safeguarding assets, and positioning the casino as a leading entertainment destination within the Dominican Republic. He will provide strategic direction, strong leadership, and full accountability for financial and operational performance.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide full operational leadership of the casino, overseeing gaming floor operations (tables and slots), security, surveillance, finance, marketing, and guest services.
Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control strategies.
Ensure strict compliance with all gaming regulations, internal controls, and anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
Develop and execute strategic business plans, including marketing initiatives, VIP player development, and competitive positioning.
Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and staff to maintain high-performance standards and exceptional guest experience.
Safeguard company assets, manage risk, and implement operational efficiencies to enhance productivity and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications and Skills
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in land-based casino operations, including prior General Manager or senior executive responsibility in regulated gaming markets.
Demonstrated success in revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, operational turnarounds, and multi-department leadership with full P&L accountability.
Strong expertise in gaming compliance, AML regulations, internal controls, and risk management best practices.
Advanced commercial acumen, including player development strategy, VIP relationship management, and competitive market analysis.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, crisis management, and communication skills, with the ability to lead multicultural teams. Fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
