Our client, a leading multinational in the paper and cellulose industry, is looking for an Education and Technology Instructor to join their team in Vienna, Austria.
The Role:
As the Education and Technology Instructor – EMEA, you will deliver specialized technical training on eucalyptus fiber and its applications to both internal teams and customers across the region. You will lead audits of refining and paper production lines, support technical trials, and optimize fiber blends to enhance the performance of the company’s Bio Pulp. Through data analysis and application modeling, you'll demonstrate Bio Pulp’s advantages over other fibers. This role also involves translating customer needs into actionable insights for product and process innovation, making you a key link between customer success and R&D.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to identify innovation and business opportunities.
Communicate long-term customer needs clearly to support product, service, and process development.
Technical Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2 technical support for new products, applications, and complex customer challenges.
Conduct testing, application trials, and pilot projects for new SKUs with strategic clients.
Ensure smooth execution of innovation projects involving customers across departments.
Customer Experience Responsibilities:
Design and deliver tailored technical experiences for clients through workshops and site visits.
Implement structured procedures to track and improve the customer journey.
Ensure consistent communication and data sharing with all stakeholders.
Project and Team Skills:
Manage a portfolio of customer-centric technical projects.
Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, accountability, and proactive leadership in dynamic environments.
Document and share key technical learnings to foster best practices across the team.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in refining or paper manufacturing (process, operations, R&D, engineering, or quality).
Solid knowledge of the pulp and paper industry.
Educational background in Chemistry or Engineering.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Willingness to travel up to 50% within EMEA, with occasional travel to Asia and the Americas.
