Broiler and Refrigeration Maintenance Superintendent

Responsibilities: • Ensures that all aspects of the company safety policy and procedures are adhered to in the direct and indirect areas of the plant • Ensures that all B&E Maintenance Management and hourly employees are trained in the required training programs needed to accomplish all aspects of their jobs • Works with B&E Maintenance managers to ensure that a cohesive atmosphere is maintained • Ensures that adequate preventive maintenance programs adhere to • Ensures critical, major, and minor work orders are being completed • Ensures that all aspects of the food safety, HAACP, and Government programs are adhered to with an emphasis on the continued compliance to these programs • Originates develops and analyzes methods for determining the reliability of components, equipment, and processes • Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports for defining Fabrication maintenance problems and makes recommendations for improvement • Responsible for maintenance/improvement projects in their areas • Responsible for the facility carcass shrink • Responsible for maintenance employees safety, and the safety condition of the facility • Responsible for the maintenance of all ammonia related equipment at the plant • Responsible for the plant utility down time for the entire facility (refrigeration, gas, water) • And any other duties as reasonably
Qualifications: • Must have a minimum of 5 years in maintenance management experience or an Associates degree in industrial maintenance with 3 years of maintenance management • Must have a good understanding of the maintenance reliability program (preventive maintenance, work order system, reliability programs, and repair and maintenance budget management) • Computer literate, must have understanding and knowledge of Microsoft programs and the working relationship of the programs, i.e. Excel, Word & PowerPoint • Must have excellent managerial skills and the ability to work closely with fellow team members, peers, and subordinates associated with the above duties as assigned
