Superintendent Overview
The Superintendent plans, schedules, and oversees the construction of wood multi-family projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and safe field execution. They lead the on-site team, including Assistant Superintendents, and coordinate all field construction activities, working closely with Project Managers and subcontractors. They ensure safety and quality control policies are implemented effectively.

Essential Duties

• Assist in preconstruction, identifying project and contract requirements.
• Develop and manage project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Conduct preconstruction meetings with subcontractors and lead the team through project closeout.
• Maintain production schedules and manage scopes of work for subcontractors.
• Enforce safety protocols to meet OSHA standards.
• Manage quality control plans and supervise project personnel.
• Oversee project turnover/closeout processes.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Superintendent on multi-family wood projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience overseeing multiple reports.
• Proficiency in construction software and tools.
