JOB DETAILS
- Location: Heerlen, Eindhoven or Born - The Netherlands.
- Schedule: On-site for the first 4 months. Hybrid (3 days/week on-site) after that.
- Type of Employment: Full-time.
- Assess and analyze the purchasing needs of internal customers and develop specifications in line with policies and guidelines.
- Explore the supplier market, reduce the supplier base, and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and performance.
- Request and compare quotations, propose strategies to improve efficiency, and manage assigned product categories.
- Provide actionable advice on procurement strategies, processes, and risk managemen.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor SLAs, cost levels, KPIs, and quality standards with suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships, address performance issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Process purchase orders, stock transport orders, and requisitions in the ERP system.
- Track and manage stock availability and turnover, ensuring timely delivery and addressing shortages or delays.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems.
- Maintain and expand professional knowledge and skills through continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MRP-driven requirements planning and technical affinity for engineering components.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Proactive, result-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
