Sr. Sales Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team, focusing on Energy Storage Systems (ESS). This role will be based in Tokyo, Japan, and will be responsible for driving sales efforts, managing key accounts, and expanding client’s market share within the ESS sector.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the ESS and solar energy industry, and will possess strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage customer relationships and business development efforts. This is a highly dynamic, performance-driven role in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share growth within the ESS sector.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong relationships with existing customers, and expand Jinko Solar’s presence in the renewable energy market.
Customer Engagement: Manage relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions using client’s ESS products.
Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands to inform sales tactics and product positioning.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical and marketing, to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and customer needs.
Reporting: Regularly report on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the ESS, solar energy, or related sectors. Experience with Power Conversion Systems (PCS) is a plus.
Language Skills: Fluency in Japanese is required; proficiency in English or Chinese is a strong advantage.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

Strong understanding of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and renewable energy technologies.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
